This was beautiful and very functional for the family member I got it for. He is older, cannot set up a lot of decorations, but put this on a table by the window and it brought him a lot of joy.
For Christmas 2024, I gave all the family groups in our large family, the Giant Nativity Scene with the Joy to the World Christmas Card. I also gave the children’s Nativity Advent Calendar to the families with children. I had been thinking about doing this for a few years & I’m glad I did it for 2024?because it appears that the child- oriented Nativity Advent Calendar is no longer available. And that item was really enjoyed by the children no matter what age they were from 3 to 13. I was told the children wanted to get up early before school to make sure they learned what happened for that day on the calendar and were careful with all the pieces making sure they were always in the right place. Even the little ones paid attention when Mom & Dad read to them and they kept track of what was happening & could answer their parents’ review questions. They also were careful with the pieces and knew right where they belonged. Several children were interested in transportation and geography when Jesus was born, how people got around, & how long it took them. Every family, both parents and children, loved the Giant Nativity Scene and planned on displaying it every year. They also planned on following the days on the Nativity Advent Calendar every year.
I ordered one of the new Stained Glass Nativity Windows to see what they were like and if I should give it to the families next Christmas. It is beautiful and has an intricate 3-D effect. I was curious how it would look with room lights turned off and battery candles or something similar glowing behind the windows. I was pleasantly surprised even with my very quick makeshift setup & took some quick pictures. You can judge for yourself but I think there is potential. What it lacks is the stability of the Giant Nativity Scene but it is an entirely different design of 3-D pieces beautifully put together to resemble stain glass windows. The package pictures it free-standing but if that is to be for any length of time, it will need support. It has Lovepop’s signature features: beautifully intricate design and flat folding for easy storage. It is truly an outstanding design!! If you chose to give it as a Christmas card, it is nothing short of magnificent!! If you gave it as a card & gift, it would be too fragile to put flat on a table with the rest of your Christmas cards for people to look at. I believe it would be in shreds very quickly. It should be on display and enjoyed, but not handled.
I have a question I hope Lovepop will answer so I can determine if the beautiful Stained Glass Nativity Windows will be a present to all my family members for 2025.
How are you able to make the Stained Glass Nativity Windows stand without support for any length of time and not have them fall down?? They look like they are free-standing in the packaging picture, but it is such a dark picture, it is difficult to tell.
This 3 section stained glass Nativity was well received and provided just the touch of beauty
hoped for when I chose it. I received a photo of it - just lovely!
I sent this to my Mother for Christmas and she loved it!
It is beautiful when placed near a window. My only comment is the "card" where I write the sentiments isn't sufficiently incorporated into the 3 panels.
