This card is for the dog lover in your life, which might even be you. There is a beagle on the front of the card so I knew, without a doubt, I had to give this card to my daughter for Christmas, who owns three beagles so far. Almost didn’t make it to Christmas to give it to her when she stopped by two weeks before & saw it on my desk with all my other cards I needed to address & send. “Mom, can I have this card? There’s beagle on the front that looks exactly like Boomer!!” “ Why, yes you can!! It’s for you for Christmas!!” “ I mean, can I have it now!!” “Is that what you really want to do or can you wait til Christmas when I’ll have your present wrapped to go with the card??” Loooong pause!! “Well, I guess I better wait so I don’t ruin your plans, but I’d really love to have it now!!” “Well, you decide what’s the best thing to do and let me know if the card is leaving with you so I don’t spend the rest of the day looking for it!!” Long silence!! “I don’t want to, but I better leave the card with you for Christmas!!” “OK, thanks for making your decision and letting me know!! I have a feeling you’ll be glad you made the decision you did when Christmas comes!!” “Bye, Mom!! I love you!!” “I love you too, my darling sweetheart!!” Lots of Hugs & Smooches!! And she was very glad she made the decision she did when Christmas came!! And the beagle card she loved so much is decorating her refrigerator door where she can see it whenever she wants. Oh, and the beagle pup that was attached to the beagle Christmas card with a ribbon on Christmas Day is probably snuggling in her lap as her big beagle boys gather around their new little brother!!
