Name & Title:
Emilio Latorre, VP of Operations and Supply Chain

Describe what you do at Lovepop.
My team is responsible for all the end-to-end operations to ultimately satisfy our customers. We source raw materials, produce finished goods, handle distribution and transportation, and take care of all customer issues and questions to deliver the right product at the right time and place.

What's the best thing about your job?
I love being able to work collaboratively with amazing individuals and teams, both in the U.S. and in Vietnam.

Out of our 4 core values (engineering, hunger, magic, connection), which one describes you best and why?
Hunger - this value is a constant for me. My work requires sacrifices (long periods of time away from home and long working hours) that I willingly do because I find my job very rewarding (especially the mentoring), challenging, and interesting.

What is your favorite Lovepop card?
Santa Biker. I love motorcycles and Christmas, and this design combines both beautifully.

If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?
A furniture maker.

What do you like doing outside of work?
I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, and running long distances.

If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Jamon Serrano (Spanish ham). As my wife says "everything tastes better with Serrano ham".

What is your go-to karaoke song?
"Despacito" by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee. Every time I go to karaoke with my team in Vietnam, they ask me to sing this one. Honestly, I do not know why, because I'm terrible at it.

Is there anything else you'd like the world to know about you?
I really love to travel. So when I'm not working, my family and I spend quite a lot of time visiting new places and learning from other cultures.
